Privacy Policy

Clean Swipe is a local media cleaning app by Maxeff. It helps you review photos and videos on your device and decide what to keep, review later, or move to a local Trash Review list.

Core privacy promise

• Your photos and videos stay on your device.
• Clean Swipe does not upload your photos or videos.
• Clean Swipe does not use AI image analysis or create user profiles.
• Clean Swipe does not require an account.

Media access

Clean Swipe asks for photo and video library access so you can review and clean media. Where supported, you may give access only to selected photos and videos.

Media access is used to show previews, record local keep/trash/later decisions, display Trash Review, and request final deletion after your confirmation.

Data Clean Swipe does not collect

Clean Swipe does not collect or upload photo content, video content, filenames, file paths, media asset identifiers, EXIF data, GPS data, face data, object labels, contacts, or personal profiles.

Local app state may be stored on your device to remember decisions and settings. This local state is not uploaded by Clean Swipe.

Advertising

Clean Swipe may show limited ads after cleanup is complete. Ads are not shown during media review, preview, restore, or before deletion confirmation.

Clean Swipe uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The SDK may process information such as IP address, advertising or device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and legal compliance, subject to your consent choices where required.

Clean Swipe does not send AdMob photo or video content, filenames, file paths, asset identifiers, media EXIF or GPS metadata, face data, object labels, or your keep/trash/later lists.

Analytics

Clean Swipe does not enable product analytics in the basic release. If optional anonymous usage statistics are introduced later, they will require an explicit choice and this policy will be updated before collection begins.

Deletion

Swiping an item to Trash does not immediately delete it. Items remain in a local Trash Review list until you confirm deletion. Depending on your operating system, deleted media may move to a system Recently Deleted or Trash area.

Children

Clean Swipe is a general-audience utility and is not designed for children.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when app behavior, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The effective date on this page will be updated when material changes are published.
